「Arca Roatàn was the most beautiful hotel that we have stayed at. We loved the intimate feel of the place. The staff were so friendly and greeted us by name or room number. They were helpful in booking local taxes, airport transfers and so much more. The beach location is gorgeous! We were steps away from the ocean with any room but ours was right at the front! There was no stress booking activities. You can do as much or as little as you want. Snorkeling even right off the resort is world class. Swimming with a baby dolphin unforgettable. Also ONCE your forced to go to the area its so intimidating and terrifying, wouldnt suggest it unless you want to be walking on egg shells with all the gang members out front of the resorts holding what seems like a knife trying to extort you. It's not on the beach which we knew going into it, but not a far walk to the Mayan beach or pool. There were never any beach chairs avaliable but really didn't bother us.
