“There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar.
Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places.

“Accommodation was good. Very clean and spacious the only downside was the lighting in the room was very poor. For some reason we were placed in a disabled room so everything was very low. As we were only staying one night we did not ask to be moved. The sink in the bathroom had no plug and was very lowdown we are tall people so it made washing a bit difficult. “Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding.
