「Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. 」

「This was such a cool spot. It is in such a convenient area with a konbini and lots of restaurants all near by. The house overlooks a school yard which is honestly kinda cool to see what japanese culture is for school kids. Its also a great view of the sunset. The homeowners were very communicative with all of our questions and very helpful. Cant recommend this property enough!」

「Absolutely stunning place in a quiet neighborhood of Kyoto. The all black finish was very moody and unique, although maybe too dark at night, especially when you’re fumbling for the switches. The stone shower room and large bath were amazing, and sleeping in the tatami room with a garden view was sublime. The location is nice and quiet with neighborhood eateries and cafes within walking distance, but slightly far from the metro, so we opted for Uber (which was very affordable) to get around...
