"Been driving? Need a no frills place to crash? This meets all of your needs and none you don’t. The front side of the property has had its rooms redone. They are clean, smoke smell free, quiet and comfortable but no frills. Oh and good shower! If you accidentally go to the back side well, there are unnumbered rooms, some rooms with open doors (but no obvious occupants). I’ll assume they are upgrading the rooms as they can. All in all a good value for the basics. "

"This place was perfect for our Guys Weekend; a getaway for 5 dads in their 40s. And we were very satisfied with all the room to move around and what this house had to offer. It was clean, plenty of seating, a big dining room table, 3 bathrooms, bbq grill, wifi, TV for our weekend sports, and firepit by the lake with great views. "We rented this property for the beach area pictured. It looked nothing like that picture. The beach was dirty with little sand and there was a pontoon docked in the middle the entire weekend. The property owner, from the beginning of the rental process, was also terrible with communication. The smell of sewage and the ridiculous amount of wasps made sitting out on the porch for more than 20 minutes impossible. "We had a lovely stay. The house was so lovely and well equipped with such attention to detail. As we sat on the deck drinking our coffee, we saw osprey, blue heron, coots and turtles. The beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was an oil rig right next to the house. I have sensitive lungs and had some difficulty with the off gassing from the rig."
