「We thoroughly loved Hatteras Island Inn! The owner and staff are hard-working, friendly, and courteous people. The king room was very nicely decorated and clean while everything was in working condition. They made it so we were able to stay another day without having to move out of our room. We WILL be back! 」

「 April 26-29 2024……Awesome beachfront!!! Staff cleaning up from prior weeks storm which washed sand dunes into parking lot…. Accommodations were made for parking. Staff was working to remedy situation. Restaurants a short walk and grocery stores and bait store nearby a short drive by car…our room was a king with kitchenette accessible by 2 flights of stairs…. No elevators….basic kitchen supplies… dishes… pots toaster and coffee makers kerig and standard… no cutting board…soap and dish towel...

「My siblings and I spent a weekend at this cottage for our annual trip. It was extremely clean and we had no issues upon check-in; the entire process was seamless and easy. This was my first Vrbo rental, and I was well pleased and would recommend this cute nostalgic cottage for other visitors to Nags Head. 「We love this location and have stayed here before. The quiet small town has everything you need and is away from all the busyness. This particular unit is the farthest unit away from the beach. Technically you can see the ocean but the view is 95% the campground next door. The unit was nice however the floors were sandy when we got there and there were several maintenance issues that need to be addressed. Overall, for the price it’s a nice place.」

「The Lil Surf Shack was perfect for our little family of 3. We had plenty of space and everything was well stocked to suit our needs. The location was perfect! The beds/mattresses could use a little TLC but otherwise, we loved this little place. We will definitely consider staying here again should we ever find ourselves back that way again.」
