This hotel was in a brilliant location, very convenient for what we wanted. It was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a twin, as the doubles were already booked, the bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat, one wasn't enough and 2 were too much. It was quite warm in the room, but an industrial fan was provided, unfortunately the lowest setting, was like a helicopter taking off, so it didn't stay on for long. The breakfast was good, with lots of choice, but for such a big hotel, the breakfast room, was very small and there were often queues. For a night or 2 it is worth a stay, for convenience and free parking alone.

Hotel room was very clean and comfortable, hotel staff were very helpful and informative. The downside is it's right next to lime street station , and it's very noisy,even though there is double glazing,but doesn't prevent the noise disturbing you .

Nice hotel with comfortable bed and great bathroom. Had a hiccup checking in. Room not ready for 20 minutes after check in time. Kept being told room was not cleaned after 3pm! Then given another room but when we opened it, it belonged to someone else and all their belongings were in the room. Then given another room which was fine. Front desk staff need some training in customer service (Hannah) who was rude and unhelpful. Apart from that it was a nice stay.

My room looked tired & jaded. Mould in the grout in the bathroom in several places, bottom of bath near plug hole very worn.& looked dirty. the sink was cracked & had a chip out of the front. Dressing table & bedside cabinet had excessive wear & tear on the fronts. TV very small. Pillows gave me a really sore neck. Tea tray very sparse. Doors in the corridor banged loudly. Breakfast was cold food that had been standing around for ages, so I couldn't eat it. Very disappointing stay.

Enjoyed the ocean liner decor and location of hotel. Window only opened two inches so ventilation was lacking. The fan was extremely powerful and noisy. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Paid for the breakfast a couple days, just okay. Front desk staff aloof.

We had a decent-sized 6th-floor room with a comfortable bed and great view of the city. It is next to Liverpool Lime Street station and within walking distance of the city centre. Our main gripe was the TV, which was very old, took a long time to respond, had no news channels and was at right angles to the bed..! There was no air conditioning either, although a large fan was provided. The bathroom was clean but pretty cramped (with one of those horrible plastic shower curtains). Staff were helpful, although reception was often unmanned when we walked past. The lifts were ridiculously small and very slow - you could barely fit four people in them. Overall, despite these issues, it was a decent place to stay.

When we first drove in I was thinking I made a mistake booking in the area, seemed sketchy & unsafe. BUT, once I got parked (attendant super helpful) and checked in (reception super helpful) and able to walk around the next day, I realized how convenient it was to everything and my concerns disappeared. Staff was super helpful and provided another fan when ours didn't work. Bartender was also able to provide me with a lot of ice for my cooler since they were close to closing time and going to throw it out anyway. Definitely would stay there if I'm ever in the area again.

Had lovely stay here a couple of weeks ago. Very convenient place to stay when visiting Liverpool Empire Theatre, it is literally a 5 minute walk down the road. 10 minute walk from Lime Street Station too. Only tjing that would improve tge stay more is air-conditioning. The fan provided is too moisy to keep on overnight. Would definitely stay here again
