Safe and good location

We loved where we stayed. It took us a few days to get acclimated, but easy access to the underground and grocery stores. It was a bit smaller than expected, but it worked out just beautifully for my sister and I. We would have no problem going back to London, and staying at the same property.

Not the flat listed, beware!

The flat that my partner and I were given was not the flat as advertised on Vrbo through Fairway Hosting. The first sign anything was wrong, when the code given in our instructions to get into the flat didnt open the key box. We had to call the emergency number listed. They gave us a different box and code. The carpeting inside the building was dirty and stained. Outdoor walkway was slippery with mould. We were left speechless when we opened the door. It looked nothing like the photos on Vrbo. Bare white walls, minimal furnishings. The living/kitchen area was not the same. We had paid in full for 11 nights for what appears to now have been a staged flat. There were no pictures on the walls, no carpeting on the floor. No plants as shown, no gray towels on beds. Just stark, bare. The wifi didnt work, the outdoor lights wouldnt stay on. My partner and I contacted Fairway Hosting and were told they had given us an upgrade due to a software system mistake. This was the first that we had heard of any upgrade. my partner and I wanted what we had paid for as shown on Vrbo. We walked out, ended up staying in a hotel for 10 nights. To date contact with Fairway Hosting has been somewhat limited. In the beginning they emailed consistently. The compensation offered was less than 1/4 of the total amount paid to them. Incredibly disappointed. It caused us undue stress on what should have been a wonderful holiday in London for the festive season.
