"The rooms were basic and some bugs got in although we were careful, but the rooms were clean at least. The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed a New Year’s Eve dinner in the restaurant and had the free breakfast one day, it had a nice variety of options. The highlight was the hot springs area. It had a great vibe, very cool with lights and a swim up bar. The grounds were also gorgeous with the vegetation and we saw a few birds walking around too. I would stay again!"

"The room is very spacious and clean. The garden is gorgious. We saw more birds very closely than the tour. The foods in the restaurant are tasty with reasonable prices. The only improvement is to have more electricity outlests in the room."

"This is a beautiful property with impeccable service and amazing views of the volcano. Our family suite was very large with an instagram worthy view of the volcano from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours that included various hotel pick ups and no hotel compared to the beauty of this property, even other five star hotels. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Eco Sol! The view was spectacular and the bed was very comfortable! Dahana was easy to contact and very helpful. You definitely need a 4 x 4 to get there. Parts of the road are rough, but worth it when you get there! We would definitely stay here again. "
