“The room was immaculate. Very well maintained. Loved the actual "glass" glasses in the room, the private toilet area, all the towels, etc. The beds were very comfortable. We had the morning breakfast which had the usual breakfast items that most hotels have. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We appreciated that especially after a long drive. Beautiful place in a lovely area!”

“The annex, with the pricey suites,is vintage 1980. No USB ports, poor lighting, no elevator, no staff help with luggage. The only positive is the breakfast, included with the room. There is no way , we will ever return to this property.”

“Loved our stay at Cadence Lodge. Had issues with the TV our first night but staff was so responsive! Within five minutes someone was there to assess. Just a minute later they were in the phone and a tech on the way. Everyone was nice and funny and responsive. Breakfast was delicious! Not your continental fare! Fresh delicious food. Even though the lodge was full, it was very calm after 10:30 pm. We willl be back! Thanks for having us!”

“We loved our stay at the Grandview Lake Placid. Enjoyed the powerful hot tub. Enjoyed the restaurant. Enjoyed a sitting area by a fireplace. The hotel location is excellent and the view from balcony rooms is outstanding. Dog friendly. The only complaint is that the toilets flush SO loudly that once people start waking up, it is all I heard. Earplugs fixed that.”
