cosy in the upper eastside

Nice area in the Upper Eastside - 60s. Short walk to subways at 63 & Lex. Convenient small markets and a Trader Joe's nearby. Great restaurants all around.Comfortable bed, easy access with "latch" app. We had a business meeting within a 5 minute walk.

Lenox hill studio

Good use of space, well laid out studio apt, with nice well equipped Kitchenette. Plumbing worked well. But towels nitvtoo clean. Also very noisy and loud with street noise all night long, impossible to sleep. Horrible. Bed too small and mattress too soft, almost like a water bed! Did not get any sleep for three ntheenights!

City Vibe

Everything was great about the apartment and location, except you can’t control the temperature, and if you leave the window open, the noise was intolerable. We are from NY, and are accustomed to city noises, but because this street feeds into the FDR Drive, there was non stop traffic and honking of horns. My cousin lent us a fan, which allowed us to close the windows, and have ambient noise. I would recommend having one in the apartment. Other than that, it is a great place.

Beautiful unit!

My husband and I stayed just before Christmas and loved the location. The building was secure and the unit was clean and included everything you might need for a stay. Had a little hiccup with check in but spoke with the host promptly and was referred to Adam who sorted everything out quickly. He and Mia were very communicative with any questions. Our only complaint would be the bed seemed a little unlevel with the bottom half being raised higher than the upper half and the mattress not really flat. Other than that everything was great! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Upper East Side.

Best Upper east side VRBO

Sheets sealed horribly - I think you have to clean the washing machine. I used it 3xI called regarding a tripped fuse and it took them 24 hrs to fix so I had one night with no TVAlso when I entered the premises the TV remote said it needed new batteriesAlso it was very cold in apt and I had to use space heater every night but when they fixed the TV fuse all if a sudden the heat came on full blast

Second and last time

This is the second time we have stayed at this unit. The first time was a charm—lovely, clean, great location. So, just 2 months later, we booked the same property again—big mistake. When we arrived, there was an awful smell of paint. We later discovered they had painted the entire apartment just before we arrived in February. The apartment could not be aired due to the cold weather, and we were left with this strong, awful, horrible odor. They did nothing to ameliorate the situation despite saying they would address it immediately. Never again. If you ever want to repaint your apartment, do it in the spring or fall when you can open the windows and air out the smell.
