"Abuu and his staff provided world class, extraordinary service. All meals were excellent, rooms an oasis and spa service from Hilda and Zam Zam as good if not better than anywhere in the world. The workers made us feel like we were family and all knew our names after our 4 day stay. I could not recommend Planet Lodge any more. If you are stopping over or coming Sorry, I’m in a meeting from safari, do NOT miss this lodge. From the day we arrived and were greeted by Eva’s smiling reception staff we felt at home. "I stayed at Mount Meru Game Lodge before embarking on a 2-week safari and after 24 hours in the air. It was a wonderful place to unwind and sleep well before the trip. The location was convenient, the staff very friendly and helpful, the price was fair, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the setting was special having been a former sanctuary for game animals. Also, there was an onsite massage spa which was excellent."

"Rivertrees is a magical oasis of cottages nestled among the dense forest. A perfect place for R&R either before or after a safari (or both as we did). The staff is so so nice too. "

"The property grounds and room are exceptional. We wanted a light snack at night and didn't care for the menu which had hamburgers French Fries . I asked a cheese tray and fruit platter and they made one up for us special. It was very good. The only thing about the lodge is that they have a very limited overall menu. You only get to choose the main course and it's only two options. For the first night we were there for lunch we had the beef tenderloin and it was very hard. I did not eat it. It's a beautiful setting with beautiful rooms. I think they should offer more options for lunch and dinner for the price point. If you're at all interested in getting a good meal you may want to book elsewhere."

"This place is gorgeous! Staff is amazing, beautiful rooms, great food. Trust the process of getting there. The road in is a little discouraging, but you’ll be so happy when you arrive. Highly recommend for a nearby airport stay. "
