"Cozy place that’s conveniently accessible to Yudanaka station. There’s a convenience store (Lawson) located right outside the train station and on the way to Shimaya. The couple who owns the place is very friendly, often greeting guests at the common area throughout the day. Room is spacious enough for 2, including much space for airing snowboarding attire. Comes with hot water that is replaced everyday, as well as green tea powder if you wish to make your own. Washroom and bathroom are clean. Overall a very pleasant experience, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nagano and/or snowboarding at Shiga Kogen."

"Room was massive, double the size of any room we have stayed in in Japan. Pillows had both Western and traditional Japan options. Fiona was encompassed in a fitted sheet (never seen this before) but kept us all warm even when it was sub 0 outside. Room had access to outdoor area, exclusive to the room, which had table and chairs. As it was an insensitive, there was only a toilet in the room - all showering had to be done downstairs in the onsen. Onsen was boiling hot - too hot for most of our group. Tip - if you don’t want to keep pushing the button to keep the water going har a shower in the onsen on the left. Location wise was great too - couple of minutes to the train (although up a very steep hill) and near lots of restaurants and the bus for the Snow Monkeys. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."
