"I, Stephen Tweedle, stayed in room 201 on Sunday night March 8, 2026. The hallway leading to the room was extremely dirty, with dirt and stains on the brown carpet, along with trash on the floor. The room 201 smelled like smoke, even though I paid for a "non-smoking" room. The bed mattresses need to be replaced, as they are smelly and not very comfortable to lay on. There are no hangers for your clothing. The bathroom still needed more cleaning. There is no toilet paper holder for the roll of toilet paper. The vent/fan in the bathroom does not work. The next morning, breakfast was horrible. Watered down coffee and cheap gas station pastries. The juice in the machine tasted spoiled. The employee at the desk was far from helpful and he seemed to be in a rush to get back to whatever he was doing prior to my arrival. I and my fiance requested to speak to management, but the clerk said they are not available. An email was sent, along with two phone calls, but management still has not responded. Today is Tuesday March 10th. This was my very first trip to Chicago, and to this hotel. I will never return here again to this hotel. It's ridiculous. Employees need customer service training and management needs to practice accountability and respect for guests. "
