"Carpet was dirty and there were stains on one of the bed sheets. You have to go out of the building to get water from the dispenser and you need a flashlight to find the elevator. Outside the building is very dust and dirty everywhere. Is more like a cheap motel and self parking is $20 dollars per night and you may have to walk long ways to you room if you find parking."

"We had such a nice stay at the Monterey Peninsula Inn. The location is absolutely perfect. It is close to everything, and a short drive down to Big Sur, or up to Santa Cruz. But exploring Monterey was so much fun as well. The room wasn't anything too impressive, although it did have a full (small) kitchen, which was great and very convenient. All pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, and others were supplied. The fridge is a small dorm room one, but it worked out for us. The staff was wonderful and very nice. I loved that the rooms were all having their front doors right to the parking lot. That made it very convenient for us to load our dog in the car. I would absolutely love to stay here again in the future! Thank you!"

"The staff was friendly however the property was not accessible and staff was not accommodating. House keeping never came to turn over the room during our three night stay, room was infested with ants, and the wifi did not work."

"Excellent place to stay in an excellent location. Walkable to many beautiful places. Needed to drive to most food, but it was a short drive. Manager was so friendly and kind. Highly recommend."
