“nice”

“Staff was incredible friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Rooms are pet friendly and they do have a dander smell and there were some stains in carpet. Beds were comfy. Rooms needed a little update. Advertised to have free breakfast but its onky M-F one sign saif 4am-6am. If you have kids may need to find alternative like we did for traveling on a weekend. We recommed lil lees it was delicious and afforadable. ”

“The Grannie Sallie Fish Camp was a great place to stay for a group of avid outdoorsmen. Daniel was a great host, he responds very quickly and helped put us in touch with some local knowledge of the Venice area and put us on some great fish. The house was very accommodating even being upper 30s at night, Daniel took the time to set up space heaters for my group and we stayed plenty warm. The fridge and pantry had everything you could have needed to cook all of your own meals (just buy your meat……

“Clean”

“Everything was great host and place ”

“We stayed in this houseboat for two nights while chartering a fishing trip out of Venice. A place to stay does not need to be fancy, but it should at least be clean. The dishes in the cupboard were dirty, the pans in the drawer were all greasy, the stovetop had food all over it and the sink wasn’t clean. On top of this, the dishwasher didn’t work. I don’t know who cleans the place but they need to do a better job, bathrooms included. Would not book again because of this. ”

“Chris was an awesome host who reached out immediately and made us feel welcome. The house boat is in a great location with easy docking for larger boats. We stay here every time we come to Venice. ”
