“Apartment was clean, spacious and bright. Air conditioning was nice and cool. Pool was nice. The kitchen was great. Self check-in was easy (they sent instructions in advance). Easy 12 minute walk to Hermosa beach. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“Room and garden area very clean. Just the decor is stuck in the 80’s. Rooms need upgrading. Breakfast could use more variety with hot foods. Pool area stuck in the 80’s. Only limited pool loungers so need to get more. Walking paths need repairs. I wouldn’t wear high heels there. But very clean, quiet and nice to have a patio for each room. I will stay there again as great location to walk downtown. Once we parked the car didn’t drive it u til we left. ”

“I've stayed at the Hotel Guanacaste for 15 years - the only times i have not is when they haven't had a room available- it's my preferred local. It's not a fancy place, but it suits my needs. It is very close to the bus stations and dining choices ”

“Check-in was great, they confirmed it was me and gave me my key, maybe less than 1 minute after the person arrived! Parking is fine, there are spaces in front of the hotel and also across the street they have a lot for the hotel. My room was fine, slight problem with toilet running (which I told them so I presume it's fixed) and this room's suicide shower was ok but not as good as the room I had in my previous stay.
