"The hotel is dated but was clean. Balcony facing lake was great. Private. Bed hard but clean. Gerry to Island right next door. Great for that reason. Sink in bathroom barely drained. Bathtub faucet dripped. "

"Wonderful staff, attentive and kind. Roshane at the Round Island Kitchen was phenomenal and remembered each of my kids names every time we saw him. Even when he wasn't our waiter, he checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. The cleaning staff was also extremely friendly and greeted us by name every time they saw us. This is a great place to stay on Mackinac, especially if you have kids. We also got tickets for my parents to see "The McCartney Years", and they loved it. "

"Great location for walking/biking to the ferries and the main downtown area of the city. Room could use a little maintenance but nothing major, new coat of paint, fix some of the trim. Overall great price for the location and convenience to both the beach and city destinations."
