It Is in an older area that seemed OK to walk in at night but not alone Restaurants around it had super weird hours so don’t expect too many lunch options but dinner was easier Puerto Rico isn’t known for its hot showers. "We enjoyed our time at Mare and had a very good experience. The one issue is that what you see in the pictures is not necessarily what you will get and the rooms vary greatly. Some had a refrigerator, others didn't; some had shelves and spacious bathrooms; our room had only a clothes rack with 5 hangers and you could only fit one person in the bathroom at a time.
