"This hotel has great location in San Juan. Rooms are nice and the beachfront room was beautiful. Wake up and fall asleep to the ocean right outside. Loved our balcony. Hotel is near lots of eateries. I would definitely stay here again. Also look at Marriott guided tours and attraction on the app. We went on a guided tour to the natural waterfalls and the shuttle van picked us up and dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. Beautiful property to stay at."

"The security guard became menacing when I honked the horn because there was no valet attendant. As he approached the vehicle, he stated: “WHAT IN A MRNECING VOICE!” I informed him I was a guest, to which he responded, “SO WHAT.” I then asked who he was because he was missing an insignia that identified him as part of the property staff. And he began taking off his jacket as if he were getting ready for a physical altercation. The valet attendant approached the vehicle. As I got out of the car, he continued using a menacing tone and followed me into the lobby, where he used a laud menacing tone in the presence of someone who later identified himself as a manager. Still shouting at me, he began to say “YOU SMELL LIKE RUM!” which I don't drink, continued insulting and shouting as I boarded the elevator, then headed to my room. My 18-year-old daughter began to get anxiety. Later, when I returned to the property, he was looking at me as if he was staring the issue down. This time, I addressed the other individual, who identified himself as the manager, and he also started shouting at me from across the lobby as I requested that he intervene and de-escalate the situation. With arrogance, he dismissed me, doing nothing. about the incident that made me feel threatened and unsafe in this property. Because I was brown and not white, as they treated white people the proper way. I believe I should be reimbursed for this stay."
