“The staff was really nice, the pool was nice and the small beach with reserved chairs and umbrellas was great. We snorkeled right off the beach and saw lots of tropical fish, cute hermit crabs were always out at night, loved the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. This place is ok if you want some relaxing, non-busy time with your family. The vibe is just okay quality wise. Rooms and amenities are a little old and run down, but totally met our needs as we were out and about most days. Wished……

“The room we had was well appointed. There is a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator. The “pool” is a jacuzzi tub. Comfortable water temp, but not a hot tub. We arrived several hours before check-in, and they let us leave our luggage while we explored the area. While they could not accommodate a late check out, they also let us leave our baggage while we did a few things before our flight. When I booked our room, I knew it was near restaurants, but did not realize that it is in the heart……

“This hotel is an amazing little gem in the heart of Condado. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had excellent air conditioning. There are coffee shops and restaurants close by. ”

“Kinda sbady area, procing was kinda high considering, disign was nice but everything seems to be concrete which echos evverutjing from the street and hallways. Honks fro. The street were plentiful and very disturbing when your already asleep. Good effort by the building however to keeo things in good shape. ”

“Here you get what you pay for. Our room was fine. Pillows not so good. Main problem was our room had large steps from kitchen/entry to bed and to bathroom. Not mobility friendly. I did have trouble navigating. It was close to a lovely Italian restaurant and to a beach. ”

“Warning!:this is an unstaffed facility. No were to hold your bags before 3:00. Facility is locked. Need a code to get in after 3:00, Rooms are clean but very spartan, absolutely no furniture to hold your stuff, leave everything on the floor. No vanity in the bathroom, no hot water. But yes, a short walk thru the Marriott to the beach. ”

“We had a flight cancelation and with many others were forced to stay a few extra days in San Juan. Many hotels were sold out and some were $450+ per night. We felt so fortunate to find a room at Ayana. Simple but updated furnishings. Clean. Excellent air conditioning. King size bed. Fridge well.stocked with various beverages for purchase. Property is located in a neighborhood that is popular, busy and walkable. So many great restaurants in the area! 3 blks easy walk to beach. The hotel……
