San Martin Hotel with Pool

"I had a very disappointing experience at Hacienda Hotel in San Jose. The staff were consistently rude and unwelcoming, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. The manager, Star, showed a complete lack of customer service. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, she spoke to me in a condescending manner, as if we were beneath her and did not know what I was talking about. That kind of attitude is unacceptable in hospitality. I would not recommend staying here if you expect basic courtesy and respect. "

"I had taken a personal trip to wine country for some fresh air, but the hotel I originally chose fell well short of expectations. On my way back to Pasadena, I came across this property—and it completely turned the experience around. If you’re looking for a peaceful setting, clean air, and a genuinely welcoming, professional staff, I recommend this place without hesitation."

"Rooms are pretty clean. The staff was absolutely incredible. The property itself is pretty nice. The breakfast was pretty good. The pool was a bit cold but it does get hot over there so it makes sense bathroom on site where the pool is so that’s also nice. blackbear diner right next to the hotel was so delicious and huge portions. A really fun dinner large patio off of our room all in all pretty great day. Beds were comfy too."

"The driveway into the hotel was confusing. It needs better signage. The room was basic. It had what I needed. Staff helped me with wifi issues. I was disappointed that the onsite restaurant was not open late night. The hotel location is good for travelers with a car since the area is not very walkable."

"Check in was smooth and staff was kind. Location of hotel was unsafe and pictures of property online were overly enhanced compared to what you see in person. One out of our two rooms was not clean upon stay and we were unable to get ahold of staff to help until second day when cleaners came. Loud surroundings at night with people walking close to doors and testing whether doors were locked, felt unsafe to go to sleep. "
