"Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. "

"House has a lot of deck levels and outbuildings. The stone showers were a first! The sauna was great and the deck views were wonderful. Had an issue with the hot tub in removing the soft cover and leaves getting into the hot tub. The owners and manager responded within literally minutes. They sent someone over right away and it was cleaned by the time that we returned to the house an hour later. The fireplaces and the firepit on the deck were wonderful when the temps got down into the 40s....

"This was a quick getaway and our first time in the NC mountains. The views were beautiful. We spent our time enjoying the quietness, reading in front of the fireplace and just a lazy few days. The house was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely want to come back again."

"With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!"

I was a little worried about the bathroom because of some of the reviews but we had no complaints at all. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the hot tub. The cabin itself is cozy and old-fashioned. The beds are big and comfortable. The location was good for trips into Boone and Blowing Rock.
