"First time we stayed in a Shepard hut . Went to Cornwall for some surfing at various beaches . The hut is very close to wadebridge shops and pubs and there’s local supermarkets close as well . It’s very very quiet and private as well , and there’s a log burning hot tub , at the property as well and a couple of sun loungers .there is some cooking equipment if you are prepared to make a meal using 2 hob stove . As I can cook almost anywhere given a pot and a heat source I found it ok to cook meals...

The location is fantastic—it is wonderfully quiet, family-friendly, and offers easy access to the North Cornwall countryside while serving as a great base to explore the rest of Cornwall. The only minor downside for us was finding the exact holiday home within the park, as the instructions weren't quite clear. "Overall the stay was great. Perfect location for the drive to many close beaches. The lodge was clean and comfortable perfect for a short break. The only thing we would recommend is the number of the lodge and campsite name be added to the booking information as we found it difficult to locate. Other than that thank you for a pleasant stay."

"Freindly welcome and used the lovely indoor pool and spa while room was prepared. Paid extra for deluxe garden suite which was truly incredible. We ate twice in tge evening and at breakfast and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The weather improved a bit on our second day and we enjoyed the outdoor pool which has stunning sea views and is much deeper for swimming. All in all very pleased with our stay and would return especially if an out of season deal was available."

"Very friendly staff, showed me to my room and made sure I was aware of which doors would be closed at which times and where everything was. The room was cosy and comfortable. I had a texmex grill for dinner in the pub which was delicious, and the breakfast which was included in the price of the room was also extremely tasty with a great range of options available. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. Thank you."
