「The room is on the 2nd floor , it is too small for a family, no table , no teeth brush , no hairdryer and shower gel provided . The stairs are too steep, quite dangerous if you have baby with you. My friend lived on 1 st floor , there is no bathroom inside the room, shared bathroom is outside, they didn’t realize that when they booked the room. 」

「Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing...

「Had a great couple of days at this hotel. Staff friendly hotel, lovely with great rooms super doggy, friendly and great food. Only pity in the area is the beach adjacent to the hotel is not doggy friendly during the summer. Other than that fantastic couple of days They also run a fshuttle to the Hut restaurant, which is well worth a visit. 」

「Fantastic hotel, beautiful interior, standing proud in the centre of Christchurch, with an imposing position overlooking the old priory ruins and castle. The staff were attentive, there was a small mix up on check in, that was sorted swiftly and promptly. Given the wrong door key by a young member of staff, I would imagine still training.
