「The room was disgusting… in a hallway like a cruise ship.. out of our window all we saw was a wall. the rug had stains all over it, the light on the night stand was full of rust, fridge with stains all over the front. My friends room upstairs was much nicer with an ocean view. But for $600 a night, I expected way better conditions. I’m very unhappy.」

The bathroom cabinet in room 109 was crooked and the back of it inside falling apart. Fridge worked great. View from ocean room.. so beautiful. Balcony, incredible and large. 「Clean room and beach view. We rented the deluxe suit for 2 nights in July. The rooms were great, separated by a short hallway with the bathroom off the hallway. The back room had a bow window facing the beach with a high table for 2, queen bed, decent sized closet and a dresser with a wall mounted TV. 「We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return.」

「Our stay started with check-in across the street and the girl who checked us in was so sweet and check-in was fast! She was soft spoken, yet helpful, and even walked us over to show us our room. The room was average size, clean. I could tell the owner/management takes pride in this inn because we immediately noticed everything was freshly painted, even the cement parking barriers had a fresh coat on them! 「Convenient to the downtown area. Rooms are well kept, clean and great size. Furniture is a little outdated, but great for the price. Parking was convenient and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Continental breakfast delivered to room was a nice bonus. The best surprise was the very well kept indoor swimming pool. Perfect for families with showers and lockers for changing.
