“The Bear Hotel is an oldest hotel in the town. It’s more than 500 yrs old .. but it still keeping very well. The dinner is so yumny and staffs are good. ”

“It’s a lovely location, aspects of the property are nice, the free car parking was good and the staff were very helpful and quick to respond to queries. The room was nice in terms of having a sitting area and then a bedroom and on suite. However, the property needs to be updated and the cleaning also needs to be more frequent. “Sadly this time the room left a lot to be desired. Firstly the room was like a cauldron, with a dormer style window, that could only be open about 5 inches. Pooped to reception as the television wasn't working, I had fried auto tune and everything (I'm no tech dummy) and no luck I asked the guy on the desk, he tried and failed to, we did secure a fan though. I was told that I would get a breakfast thrown in , I did mention straight away that I would be leaving before breakfast started, so I……

“One night stay for my partner's birthday. Hotel is clean and tidy and very well presented. Pool is lovely and definitely their summer USP, but not near enough sun loungers for the potential number of guests staying at the hotel - so be prepared to not get one. Classic case of guests leaving towels on them when they were nowhere to be seen. Josh was fantastic in the restaurant, helpful young lad with a great eye for getting things done. Shower only ran boiling hot water which wasn't ideal but……
