“Beautiful property and amazing host. This was the perfect location right on the trail. Breakfast was lovely!”

“Staying at the Alexander Mansion felt like stepping back in time to an era of elegance and warmth. Every piece of furniture and every lamp tells a story—but what truly made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality of the 80-something host, a former chef, who graciously prepared a beautiful and heartfelt breakfast ceremony for us. His kindness and attention to detail gave our journey a sense of home and heartfelt care. Thank you for not only providing a charming place to stay, but for making……

“The jacuzzi tub was great to relax the muscles after a day of adventure and exploration although we unfortunately had to clean it ourselves before use as there were footprints with sand and dirt within it. The remainder of the room was clean other than the solid thick layer of dust upon the top of the head board. We didn't sleep well as the bed was too firm, it is what it is. The outside curb appeal around the building itself is full of weeds and the bushes need some attention.”

“Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park.”

“Very clean and organized. Rustic scenery very quiet and peaceful.”

“Everything was perfect for our one night stay… owner was very helpful and easy to reach. Only small issue was that it was a little difficult to get up and down the ladders to the lofted beds.. but now that we know what to expect, we would definitely consider staying here again!”

“Great location. Close to the park, bars, restaurants, and a gas station. World class trout fishing within minutes. Covered deck is a game changer on a rainy afternoon. We will be back every year! ”

“Thank you Richard for such a beautiful property. We felt comfortable in the home with plenty of space. There are 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. All of the furnishings were very comfortable. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Communication between Richard and I was prompt and clearly displayed.”

“Beautiful and peaceful get-away with extremely responsive owner. Loved the porch the best :) listening to bird calls & songs! Cozy Amish built cabin!”
