We booked the sunset suite because we think enjoying the sunset view in the jacuzzi at the terrace would be a great experience. After check-in, we found that our room had been upgraded to the pool suite with an individual outdoor pool but there would be no more sea view! After liaising with the hotel management, they kindly agree to change us to the ocean suite, which the sea view and sunset is even greater than the sunset suite! The pool and the beach are also great for enjoyment of sunbathing and water activities.

Once you get in and you will never want to step out of this resort.
Everything is fine , however the only thing I dislike is the buffet dinner I had that night is a little bit disappoint by very little option of food

This hotel is located at the Chewang beach and is surrounded by restaurants as well as different kinds of shops. It is only around 20 minutes walk to the Central Festival shopping arcade and we did not need to take taxi for our entire stay. The beach is okay and it is to my surprise that we can play stand-up paddling there. It is not really good for swimming though as the water is not clear. Had dinner at the Dara Serene Restaurant on the beach and it was nice! To be honest, the food is just so-so but the environment compensated everything. One thing that I was upset about is the construction site just next to my room. It was really noisy and disturbing. The breakfast is okay. Not many varieties but it is fine. They even provided detox juice at the breakfast! Unsure if it works though...
I like the fact that there are convenience stores everywhere in the area. You can even buy some small souvenirs there which is really nice! Shopping on the street is a challenge as they don't list out the price and you have to bargain a lot! I would rather buy in proper shops to avoid all the bargaining which is really annoying.
Seafood is nice and the fresh coconut is great! We had one a day and I still miss it.

Nice and relatively big pool
"Swimming pool is the biggest and nicest one within the Area (the one hour walking distance along the beach). Unfortunately the weather is not nice in December. Room is really small as expected. No.1 choice in the area for those who want to do a serious swim!"
