Only downside is the elevators are super slow. I also would have liked to go to the roof top to enjoy the view without going to brunch on a Sunday. My kid was not of drinking age and not allowed up. The property is in a great location. Far enough from the chaos but close enough to walk to it. Very nice staff. Rooms could have better lighting

Everything about this place was fantastic. As soon as you walk in you know it's special and they take great pride in your experience there. The service, restaurants, rooftop view and rooms were great. Such a wonderful experience for a sister weekend!

Very clean and comfortable room. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Pod 39 Hotel in Manhattan, New York, for 5 nights in May 2026. I booked my reservation through Expedia and paid the full amount in advance with my credit card. The advertised rate was approximately $264 per night, and Expedia indicated the total price of the stay. At check-in, I was surprised to be presented with a form requiring me to sign and accept an additional “facility use charge.” I was told there would be an extra charge that was not clearly disclosed during my booking process. Initially, I understood it to be $50 per day, and later I was charged $20 per day. I expressed my concern to the front desk because I believed all mandatory charges should have been clearly disclosed before I completed my reservation. I did not feel comfortable being asked to sign for additional fees after arriving at the hotel, especially after paying the quoted price through Expedia. Transparency is very important to travelers. Guests should be clearly informed of any mandatory facility fees, resort fees, or destination fees before booking, not at check-in when they have already arrived and have limited options. I have contacted Expedia regarding this issue and am currently awaiting their response. My feedback is intended to encourage clearer disclosure of all required charges so future guests can make informed booking decisions without unexpected fees
