"We needed a place to evacuate to from our coastal home during Hurricane Milton. The owners are kind and generous. We have everything we need here and were able to extend our trip a couple days since we do not have power at home yet. We are still here and enjoy the quiet now after the storm. The house is comfortable and decorated beautifully. We want to bring our kids back here during the summer for a family trip to visit the area and do some trail hiking. "We’ve stayed here several times and will definitely stay again. The house is always clean, comfortable and stocked with necessities & more. So many activities available (lake, boat, canoes, paddle board, hot tub, fire pit, game room, corn hole and more). We don’t bring pets but it is pet friendly. The host, Dave, is awesome! Friendly, quick to communicate and very easy to work with. He’s on top of everything! The area is so peaceful and neighbors are friendly but private. Plenty of parking space...
