「The rooms were clean, comfortable, and wonderful layout. Love the open patio with the view of the vineyard. Very private and perfect spot for a couple's getaway.」

「Staff were nice, but the room was a mess. The AC was super noisy and the smoke alarm went off at 5 AM for no reason, which was terrifying. The desk lamp and the room phone were both broken, we had to walk down to the lobby just to talk to the staff. Overall a pretty bad experience.」

It’s very basic in its services - you have to carry your bags up to the room (no lift), cleaning seems to be minimum and there is no front desk, just an unfriendly barman at the bar of the hotel. Upon checkout I was not allowed to see the invoice to check, and the same unfriendly staff told me I should get it by email. I didn’t receive for a few hours so I emailed the hotel (the address given to us at check in, since they don’t have a front desk so you can’t call...

「The property is located away from the downtown crowds and noise but close enough to walk to the main section of the downtown area. The Ingleside Inn has history and style reminiscent of a bygone era. Featuring, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Palms Springs, Melvyn’s, on the property, this adult only Inn is perfect. 「Staff were accommodating and polite, but property needs a little TLC. This historic property smells a bit old and rusty but the bed was clean and comfy. I didn't care for the refillable bath products due to sanitary issues but that's just me! Location is safe and convenient to restaurants. I give it three stars ☆☆☆」
