“The pic on the website of expedia and hotel did not match. If you are not in the main building then you are very far from the lake and spa. No breakfast in the hotel, Not at all freindly staff when you check in, we checked in at 11 o'clock at night and they didn"t help us with our luggage. rooms were so so small....”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location. Room was as advertised- good size, very clean.”

“For the most part the staff was good but extremely understaffed. To the point we checked in as a family of four but would only received towels for two. We had to go to front desk every day to get more. The refrigerator and phone did not work and they were unable to switch them out or move us. The toilet began to back up and my husband was told they couldn't come up and gave him a plunger to see if that worked, fortunately, it did.”

“Beautiful old building with nice rooms. Quiet during non-event periods. Loved walking the grounds and sitting on the open air porch. Very reasonable pricing and great location. Breakfast was nothing special but did the trick.”

“I like the room. It was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well and the room was nice and cool. The refrigerator was wonderful because it kept a lot stuff nice and cold. I even brought a small ice cube tray with me and made ice and it froze nicely. The only major issue I had was when I went to take a shower. It seemed like the hot water was taken a very long time to get hot and it didn’t stay hot but very long. “dirty and bad flavor”

“There was a musty odor to the room. Linens on bed felt partially damp at the feet. Room was clean. When I opened the mini fridge, it fell off the platform.”

“Could use some refreshing. Had to ask for new towels. Otherwise the price was right and turned out to be a peaceful and convenient stay close to Auburn and downtown Skaneateles.”
