“There was an issue the first night. Electrical issues forced us to transfer to another local, unaffiliated property...which was not at the level of comfort and amenities we expected or had paid for. That said, the hotel went out of its way to correct the issue, first by upgrading our rooms, then reaching a mutually agreeable price correction. All in all, a great stay! Thank you Reynaldo and the entire Tifakara team!”

“We were given a wonderful two bedroom suite with an enclosed patio and a hammock, a kitchen, two king beds in on room, plus a second bedroom above. WOWOW! Great breakfast around the corner at Gecko. Bedroom in the midst of a rain forest. Unbelievable!!!”

“We had the room with the private pool this time, and let me tell you it was gorgeous!! The pool could use a little updating, but the property is under new ownership and they are renovating everything. When we got there we were told they were giving us a free tour at the hanging bridges… we’ve been to La Fortuna many times, but had never done this activity. This is a DO NOT MISS location! We saw so many birds, a coati, 5 different eyelash vipers, blue jean frogs, etc. I highly recommend……

Café da manhã com comida típica local, mas com opção de pedir pão, panquequinhas, ovos mexidos, iogurte e frutas (abacaxi e melancia). Café para beber a vontade. Para brasileiros, sempre acostumados com café da manhã com muita variedade, talvez deixe a desejar, este ponto. Estacionamento disponível. Hotel com muita natureza, pássaros sempre por perto e localização ideal. Próximo do centro e tambem próximo do parque……

“The location is great. It has a on site restaurant and a swimming pool. The food is delicious with local and fresh material. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacious, but some noise over the roof, maybe some small animals there. The garden is amazing with beautiful views, a lot of tropical plants. ”

“This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. Towels and bed linens are nice, beds comfortable, cozy living area with……

“The staff were incredibly friendly. Right away they offered drinks while we checked in. We were able to use the pool and gym while we waited for our room to be ready. Very clean stay and open spaces. Breakfast had many options and changed depending on the day. Loved the variety of pools and jacuzzis for privacy or bigger groups. ”
