“Stunning hotel, gardens, maze and amenities all excellent. Lovely attentive staff and breakfast and had dinner the 2 nights we stayed, cannot fault it and would love to return some day. ”

“Would be good to have spa facilities. Bathroom had a bad sewage smell - luckily I was able to move rooms. A bit disappointing as it seemed to be a known problem.”

“Nice easy location for Lindisfarne. Good menu, but seems to be the same one at each of this group of hotels. Decent sized room, with tea and biscuits supplied. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, but some people may prefer them this way.”

“Perfect 2 night stay for Northumberland coast trip - Seahouses, Farne Islands, Bamburgh Casle all within easy reach. The hotel and restaurant were very good. ”

“Location is great with lots of free parking options nearby including EV chargers. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and warm. On the downside was the fact that our room was just above the pub and on Saturday night was very loud until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. So make sure to ask for a room on higher floor. Regarding the breakfast one day we had the eggs Benedict which were not good as the hollandaise sauce was too watery, scrambled and bland. The 2nd day we had the English……

“Nice large room, and quiet, although alongside A1. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, and was woken at 1 am by a very noisy group of women thumping and talking loudly down the corridor - not comfortable enough to go back k to sleep again, but the noise was not the fault of the hotel. Generally a good place to stay, nice food and a decent breakfast.”

“Friendly staff, nice breakfast, unfortunately no hot water for the whole weekend. Staff kept saying it was repaired but that wasn't the case. The weekend, was cold and wet so no hot shower was pretty grim.”

“Our stay at the links was more than expected, lovely clean, warm room, excellent bathroom facilities, very friendly reception staff, excellent location for local ammienties and exploring the local area, a great little cafe next door where you can get a tasty breakfast served by friendly staff.i would fully recommend a stay at the links,we will certainly be returning ”
