"Great hotel for business and leisure conveniently situated and quiet despite being on the major road in and out of town. Parking is plentiful, staff terrific and the bar is a hoot. Food is also very good for on the fly meals. "

"This is an old fashioned motor court, not a modern fancy hotel. I like these nostalgic motels, but it might or might not be your cup of tea. The manager was sweet and helpful, eager to make sure everything was to my liking. The room was a bit dated, but neat as a pin and absolutely no unpleasant smells - not just nonsmoking, but no cleaning chemical smells either. The fridge/freezer was clean and cold, the microwave also clean. Plenty of pillows on a comfortable bed. There were windows front and back and a desk where I could work while in the room.
The room would benefit from machine for tea and coffee. They only had coffee in the small front office. I bought a mug and some tea bags at the nearby Stop & Shop and microwaved water for tea which worked OK.
Again a caveat; it did not bother me, but over the back fence was a trailer home neighborhood but they were well kept up with flowers in the yards. "
Cozy 1-bedroom apartment, water views in wonderful New Haven with WiFi, AC
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean, beautiful apartment with all the amenities, except washer/dryer. Private entrance on the side of the home. Very large apartment and well stocked with all the kitchen appliances and utensils. Bed very comfortable. Great location, with beautiful view overlooking the water. Host very responsive. "
"Communication with host was excellent, home was clean, minimally appointed; convenient location off I-91. We were in North Haven for a family reunion so we literally just slept, made coffee and showered at the VRBO. The house is on a rear lot and the property in front was off-putting. The yard around our vrbo house, including the entry, was overgrown and unkept, which was a disconcerting first impression. Thankfully, we had no plans to enjoy the yard but there is great potential should the host choose to do exterior maintenance and landscaping. Lastly, the listing does say only one bath; however, it's unfortunate that a half bath was not included in the recent renovations given the generous space in the existing bath and bedrooms"
