"This is a great spot to use as home base to visit the parks. We benefited from early entrance, easy access to shuttles and a meal credit in the dining area that catered to many tastes and provided quick and easy meal options. My only quibble was that the housekeeping was not consistent. Things were clean but sometimes we didn't get facecloths or bath mats. Also not much in the way of toiletries, like body wash, are provided so you have to know to bring your own stuff."

"We booked this resort specifically because it was advertised as a resort with a waterpark. The waterpark was the entire reason we chose to stay here, as we were looking forward to our kids being able to enjoy it during our trip. Unfortunately, after arriving, we were informed that the waterpark was closed. This was extremely disappointing and should have been clearly communicated before booking or at least prior to arrival. To make matters worse, the elevator closest to our room was also out of service. Since we were staying on the 5th floor, this created a major inconvenience. We either had to walk all the way to the other side of the complex just to find a working elevator or take the stairs up and down five flights. Traveling with children made this even more frustrating. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, especially considering the amenities we booked the resort for were unavailable. Transparency about closures and better maintenance of essential facilities would have made a huge difference in our experience."

Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"It was a great place to stay when visiting the Disney parks. The King suite has a kitchen with a stove top and a good sized fridge. The Uber and Lyfts were reasonably priced to the parks which made daily outings easy. The pool and surfing area at the hotel was such a hit with the kids that they wanted to stay at hotel instead of going in the parks (of course we made them go to the parks but they kids were always excited about the hotel amenities). It is a great place for families. I would definitely stay here again."
