“Had an amazing experience! Especially the staff were so helpful! Jorge- the manager- made our experience top notch! He was such a great man! Food was delicious! Could not use the beach due to algae season but pools were great! Spa was incredible- great service. The only thing we did not like is the their sales manager’s attitude! I think his name was Scott. He was the responsible person of the membership experience. Our concierge Monica was amazing! Always smiling and very helpful! Dont forget……

The quality of the food in the restaurants is truely exceptional and we were blown away by the kindness of all of the staff. Truely not one complaint. We went to a 5* hotel in playacar for the last 5 nights just for a change of scenery and wish we had just stayed here as the service did not compare!”

“We are a pretty low maintenance family. Not a lot of requirements but this hotel really was odd. We have been to lots of resorts in the Riviera Maya region and our experience has always been super pleasant. People are usually super kind and customer service is abundant. That was not the case here. People seemed annoyed to be working here. Our ac was broken on day 1 and we were told it was a water issue with the property and would be fixed by midnight. It did get slightly better but still very……

“It’s a really elegant and chill hotel. The only thing I questioned was the description of the rooms since when we booked the title of the room said “two queen beds,” but they weren’t queen beds. The ocean view is not always ocean view. Although, it’s considered ocean view. Our balcony would see out to the pool and hotel, but not really the ocean view we thought. Overall if you’re looking for a hotel that’s more relaxed/chill this is the place. The pool does have music but it’s not too “hype” or……

“I had a superb winter avoidance break at Bahia Principe. The pre booked transfer with Amstar worked perfectly both ways - just over an hour from Cancun. I opted for the shared transport but was the only passenger on both trips! Really good and competent drivers - if you’re unfamiliar with the locality this is a much better option than renting a car for yourself! The room was fabulous, stocked minibar replenished daily, comfortable bed, clean and spacious shower room, small balcony to relax on……
