「I'll be honest. I was expecting a lot more from this hotel. You can't approach the rooms without walking through sand and with your feet covered in sand, there is nowhere to wash your feet outside of your room. In other words, we had sand all over our floor everyday. The water pressure was absolutely horrible in the showers. You turn the shower on at full blast and all you get is a mere trickle. 「We just completed our 5-day stay at Maria's Kan Kin in Isla Mujeres, and it was wonderful. This is a beautiful, quiet boutique hotel with amazing breakfasts included in the room rate. We enjoyed lunch and dinner at the hotel every day. While the food was a little pricey, it was absolutely delicious, so we didn't mind paying for the quality and experience. 「The property was great, however the Kings Pool was closed while we were there. So we missed out on that. In the cabanas the birds were pretty bad towards the Kings Pool. The front canbanas weren't to bad. It was cool looking at all the babies running around though. The staff was incredible the entire time, they were always accommodating and happy to help. 「Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed.
