「Excellent place」

「Blood stained on the bed sheets! When I requested to change the bed sheets, the staff told me that its their policy to change every 3 days!!」

「There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. 」

「Location was just what I needed booked last minute very friendly and welcoming would definitely use again. Bedroom was clean and fresh. Bed was comfortable. 」

「Interesting, inexpensive place to stay, within the walls of the Cathedral close. Staff friendly, breakfast solid, a stone’s throw from the cathedal. Definitely highly recommend for the bargain-minded traveler!」

「The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price.」
