"Let me first say that this was a very first time that we’ve stayed at this resort. I’ve been to Cancun 20 times and this by far was the worst experience ever. Housekeeping was awful, the drinks were awful, the food was mediocre at best. The weather was amazing. The bad thing is a woman had drowned while we were there the hotel. Never let anybody know what happened. There was a lifeguard on duty that didn’t pay attention in this woman drowned. The next day there were so many lifeguards and they blew the whistle at every little thing that you did. It made it not even fun to be on the beach. It was sad that a lady had lost her life, but it was unfortunate that it was at the end of the neglect of a staff member who wasn’t doing his job. This will be the last time we ever stay there. The drinks were never consistent and was made with the wrong alcohol. The food was never at the right temperature or the variety of food was not that great. The only food that was decent was the sushi bar was amazing. And when we asked for clean towels, we never got them. Housekeeping only came into our room once and when we asked for housekeeping the other days, they never acknowledge that we needed anything."

"We had an ocean view and a corner room. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable! The staff were amazing—from the housekeepers to the bartenders and waitstaff they were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the beach and the pool both—very attentive staff at any location. The restaurants were 5 star. We will return to Secrets the Vine!!"

"The resort was very clean and beautiful. Unfortunately, the staff gave us incorrect information several times regarding the amenities and restaurants, leading us to run in circles trying to figure out where we can and cannot eat. Furthermore, this resort is not actually "all-inclusive" as it is advertised to be. This resort works on a tier-based system, with different colored bracelets. If you book the regular all-inclusive, there are only two restaurants you can even eat at, and most of the bars will turn you away. I am disappointed that this was not advertised before booking the resort. The staff are very unhelpful as well. When we asked for towels, the staff told us that someone would be up within the hour to bring us towels. However, towels were not brought to us for the duration of our entire trip. The events did not happen half of the time, as advertised through the Oasis app. We showed up for bingo at 3, and bingo never started. The signs were up, but nobody was there. "
