Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows

"The staff throughout the hotel are all amazing, from the front desk to the bellhop and valets (Ray-elle was the best), to the cleaning staff. We have been coming here for years. Our only complaint is that the rooms in the towers need to be updated. We stayed in an Oceanview room which was amazing, but we only had one small sink in the entire room. There should be separate sinks for bathroom/kitchen. Also, there are not enough outlets in the room. One is right above the sink which is a big safety hazard for hair dryer or iron being by water. Also, only 2 small garbage cans in room that fill up in an afternoon so we were constantly having to find our own bags for trash overflow and having to put them in the hallway because they filled up so quickly, Everyone else was doing the same, so it does not look good to have bags of trash in the hallways every day. Other than updating the tower rooms, we loved our stay and the amazing staff! We will definitely be back but we will likely stay in the cottages next time since they have been renovated."

OUTRIGGER Kaanapali Beach Resort

"We loved our stay at Outrigger Kaanapali. The front desk staff was very helpful during check-in, and we were able to quickly settle into our rooms. The rooms were nice and clean, and had everything we needed in them. Housekeeping staff was so kind and friendly. The grounds are really pretty. We often lounged on the loungers located throughout to watch the sunset or just rest for a moment. My kids had a big time climbing the trees. The location was very convenient. It’s a short walk to all the restaurants and shops at Whaler’s Village. The small shop attached to the hotel was so convenient for snacks, drinks, or whatever else you might need. The views were phenomenal. We stayed at another Outrigger during our trip to Hawaii and have to say this one was so much nicer. We loved the cultural aspects of the hotel. We participated in the lei-making class, which was awesome, and then did the departure ceremony. It was beautiful and moving. We loved learning more of the Hawaiian culture. Maui was beautiful and we loved the pace of the island."

"Everything was absolutely wonderful exactly as pictured with the most beautiful views. Only issue was the toilets handles are very hard to flush. But otherwise absolutely wonderful."
