“This 'little' cottage is exquisite. By far the nicest VRBO accommodations I have experienced with my family of 4. Sparkling clean, wonderfully located with a short walk to everything, peaceful grounds to enjoy and a kind, responsive and welcoming host. I say 'little' because the pictures make it seems smaller than it actually is. “We spent the days exploring the area (hikes, horseback riding, seeing lighthouses, exploring Portland etc.) and it was a nice place to come "home" to for my family (6 of us). We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was a bit hotter while we were there (unseasonably I believe) and so we definitely used the window air conditioners. Overall the house was very comfortable for us, was clean and provided everything we needed! ”

“The only big issue was that the VRBO listing gave us the wrong address. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. My elderly parents were relieved that we didn’t get scammed. Lol. The place was clean and large and easy to get on the highway. It’s 2 and a half baths, not 3 full……

“The house was amazing and perfect size, however who ever cleans the place between visits does a horrible job. Half a roll of toilet paper in bathroom, no paper towels, trash cans had no bags in them, floors covered with sand, blankets smelled and had chocolate on them, had to search for the remotes under the couch and found food under it, dish washer full of dirty dishes and when I ran it it poured water all over the floor, trash barrels and recycling full under the deck. “My family and friends stayed 2 nights for July 4th long weekend in beautiful home by the beach. The beach is just across the street. My communication with owner was very easy . She give me all the information and answered all my concerns. The house is old but beautiful Victorian house which we all love. We have everything we needed. We enjoyed hanging outside and sitting in the porch. The beds were comfortable and good quality sheets/ blankets. Each room has its own character. I think they did……

“Cozy beach house with surprisingly roomy rooms & tons of amenities! TVs in each bedroom with Roku & a fully stocked kitchen for all cooking needs- just add groceries. We weren’t there for the beach but just minutes away from downtown & Nubble Light. Mike the owner was very nice & available if we needed anything. ”
