「It really is glamping - it has nothing to do with camping as you know it. I would describe it as a cabin without water and bathroom (though they are close by). Very spacious, beautiful surroundings, nice hosts, has everything you need. Close to all major attractions. Really enjoyed my 3-nights stay!」

「It took a couple days to adjust to the change in view from our favorite spot on the back porch, not to mention the sounds of construction on Christmas Eve as the monstrosity of a home being built against the mesa continued. Our favorite spot at the Getaway is now much different as the peaceful seclusion we once experienced is now property tainted by money. 」

「The cabin was very cozy, and well equipped with a full kitchen including a coffee maker. We were close to Mt Rushmore, downtown Rapid City, Custer State Park, and the Air Museum at Ellsworth AFB. The Badlands were a bit more of a haul, but easily accessible as a day trip. Restaurants and stores were 5-15 minutes away based on what you wanted.Jeff was great to communicate with, and gave us clear directions on getting to and accessing the property. We even got to see deer and wild turkey...
