Taxis and subways are easy to use. Make sure to use Naver app as your navigation with supplemental help from google map. Purchase a T money card from any convenience store and load it with cash to make accessing public transports and taxis easier.

Try to get transportation card for easy ride on subways and buses (make sure to tap on way out as well). It was tough for foreigners to travel due to lack of uber and google map, but you can now use Uber or Kakao T as a foreigner to reserve taxis.

Lots of interesting things to see historical palaces, temples, and structures. A lot of great food options. The subway system is really packed and most often there's no seat available. Taking a taxi or a bus isn't much better due to traffic

It is a relatively young city, specifically it started modernization in the 1980s. It is quite amazing to see how cars, trucks and busses negotiate on a tight road. Many store clerks can speak rudimentary English. The subway system works well.

Always recommend getting a T transportation card! I bought mine the first day of my 2 week stay and put $40 on it just incase. I was going all around the city for two weeks and still left with money on it. They can be used in some taxis also.

I have been to Seoul many times as a solo female traveller. I usually make Seoul my base and travel out from there. Seoul marries the old with the new and if you haven't been, put it on your bucket list, you won't be disappointed

Really easy to get around once you figure out the subway system and know when the traffic is. Taxis are everywhere and the food and shopping in the area is great. Namdaemun and Myeongdong super fun to walk around and eat and shop.

Amazing city. Subway is incredible-clean, easy, fast. Many options for evening entertainment. Beautiful cultural expression among very modern and creative new buildings. If you like Cities and walking, this is the place.
"Overall it was a good choice. The location was amazing in the sense that it was connected (underground) to Seoul Station making travel within the city a breeze. Some great restaurants and convenience stores were either nearby or at the base of the property. Room was nicer than expected… would definitely consider staying here again!"

The signature suite (two queen bedrooms) was great for our family and had the bonus of in room laundry appliances and a full size fridge freezer. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Just a short walk and metro ride to the main centres. "
