“Everything generally was ok. We arrived later than planned and wanted to get my daughter straight to bed. Most of the main lights in the room didn’t work, only bathroom and bedside lights. Reported to reception, she tried to change the main bulb, brought the wrong bulb then needed to get steps. Tried to replace a side light bulb instead, but could get them working. Asked her to give up so I could get my daughter to bed in the end.”

“We booked a 2 night stay here as a base to take my niece to longleat, which was about 30 mi utes drive. The hotel and grounds were lovely. We had booked a king sized bed, but the allocated room had only a double bed. We complained the following morning, and when we returned that evening our room had been changed and we were offered a complimentary drink and snack each! There were some areas that could do with a little maintenance/attention to details. But all in all we enjoyed our stay here.……

“The hotel and staff were fantastic but the noise from drunk people using the drinking area on top of the room and opposite was not nice as woken with shouting/swearing late at night driving off in there loud exhaust car parked under our room window (not an official space either). Air con would be useful. Restaurant was lovely.”
