“A rare time when the pictures line up with reality. Our stay was very nice. The place is well run and only a couple years old. The food was great. There weren't many people staying there since we went in slow season (July) so it felt very mellow and private. The beach was full of seaweed so we couldn't swim, but we expected that so it wasn't a disappointment. The beach is very calm and shallow. Excellent location near everything. No more than a 15 minute drive to most of our activities. Highly……

“The house and cenote is beautiful.”

“the ocean was visible from our room, however the beach was covered in sea weed wich i understand is normal but nothing was done to clean the beach. we enjoyed our pool very much !! the water in the pool became visible dirty after a few days , the same thing happened to the main pool and nothing was being done about it. i think housekeeping needs to step it up.”

“We had a wonderful week here. Mac was very responsive and helpful. The pool was great. The place was beautifully furnished. Had lots of great meals both in town and just down the street. We even got to see turtles nesting on the beach just off the pool deck.”

“If you are looking for a relaxing stay in a beautiful, well-appointed, beautifully designed apartment surrounded by nature, this one is for you. The apartment is spacious. The ocean views are spectacular and the location is excellent -- ten-twenty minutes from everything -- Centro, Hotel Row, several cenotes. Please note, this area of the Tulum beach is on the quieter side. But for us, it was exactly what we were looking for. There are several restaurants at other properties located within……

“We had a wonderful time at Casa Escocesa! The property is absolutely beautiful and well accommodated for our group size (6). We all felt very comfortable the entire time and had plenty of space. The pool and views are stunning and we felt so at peace. Most special were our hosts. Elder and Elda were so helpful, the grocery and meal services made our trip! Elda is a fantastic cook wish we’d had her cook even more. They also popped in during the day to tidy rooms for us which was so nice. Also,……

“Exactly as pictured/described. We LOVED enjoying the personal plunge pool after a day of adventuring to cool down and listen to the ocean. It is on the top floor with construction next door, as was included in the description but it did not interfere with our enjoyment at all. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful with questions and freely provided suggestions for activities. The AC was great at night while we opened the doors for the warm breeze if in the room during the day.……

“Very clean and quiet. Nice modern rooms with well equipped kitchenette. Renting scooters and quads onsite was handy. Private roof top patio's/cabanas with plunge pool for use”
