Perfect stay all around!
We so enjoyed our stay at Hotel Estacia while in Tokyo, and it fulfilled all of our needs. We were looking for accommodations for our family of four in Tokyo, which can be difficult to find within a budget. We also hoped to be centrally located so we could easily access different areas of the city. The apartment is not only located an intriguing area of its own, near to the Hokusai museum and Sumo wrestling (Yokozuna Tonkatsu), but it is also on the border of central Tokyo and a short walk to train stations that got us quickly (often without a transfer) to most major sights. The apartment was nicely furnished, comfortable, spacious, well maintained, and equipped with what we needed to prepare simple meals.
The host was also wonderful, providing us with helpful information well in advance of our arrival, and thoughtfully checked in and responded quickly to any questions during our stay. I was especially impressed with the host’s quick and gracious response to an email that I sent prior to our departure, and accidentally at midnight Tokyo time. They provided a wonderful guide for arriving at the apartment and for getting to know the area–a personal touch that we greatly appreciated. Without a doubt, we would stay here again—and would recommend it to our friends looking to stay in Tokyo.
