“The El Cid was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is clean with friendly staff. It has an on site dive shop. You can snorkel or dive at their beach. There is daily entertainment. The buffet offers many choices or order from their menu.
I do not recommend purchasing a shared taxi as part of your travel package. There are plenty of taxi's at the airport and hotel that are easy to get for $20.”

“Absolutely beautiful resort. Our room was magnificent. The views from both the living room and the bedroom were stunning. We had an enormous bath in our bedroom. Our wonderful housekeeper Anita restocked our fridge and water and cleaned our room beautifully every day. What a treat after our daily adventures. We had a couples massage. “Loved the pool and area on the roof! My only complaint is the nosey traffic, which can't be helped, but nice to be aware of that. Also, it says oceanfront but there is a busy street, the main one... the ocean is there, but its kinda dirty down on that part and not much beach area. The staff outside letting you in and out are very nice, polite and helpful. “Needs new furniture. All the furniture dinning and living room furniture old and stain. Needs Shower doors in all bathrooms. Water was going all over the floor. Needs new Kitchen cabinets. Rail in the stairs. My 88 yr old mother needed help to go up and down the stairs. Needs new toilet seats covers. According, to a lady is not a hotel and they only gave us 6 towels for 7 day stay. We had to go to a laundry mat to wash our towels.

“We loved our stay here. Villas El Encanto is located in a quiet residential area with lots of lovely bakery and breakfast options nearby. Our accommodation was excellent. 5 of us (incl 3 teenagers) stayed in a very cool and comfortable family cabin with filtered water and a fully equipped kitchen area.
