“I have stayed at the Monte Carlo for over 20 years and they have always looked after my needs with great care and compassion. The hotel is set in a wonderful position in the town ( not the soulless hotel zone) overlooking the sea and mountains. It’s a period hotel, with tremendous charm with a pool on the roof at a certain price point. We visited in April 2024 and the staff were fabulous and the stay in Madeira a joy. “房間沒有冷氣風扇，與hotel.com所描述不同，故房間較熱。另外，洗澡水外淺，令地板全濕。床墊開始舊，有下榻情況。景觀開揚，有小型厨房，空間較大，洗澡水夠熱，毛巾隔天更換但天天執房。酒店附近多食店亦有超市，巴士站，泳灘等。酒店有免費接駁車往市中心，但我沒有使用過。早餐有面包，生果，可可米，乳酪及芝士火腿蛋等，不是好味，亦不難吃。”
