“I was given a lovely warm welcome after a long journey to get there and felt at home as soon as arriving. The room was perfect, nice and quiet as requested and breakfast the next day was really nice and set me up for the day. Thanks so much i look forward to returning to you soon”

“Lovely place to stay”

“The room was fantastic but the check in experience was very poor. We had a printout from an email which said to use the Gileston Manor Courtyard with cream gates as the entrance, upon arrival at 7:30PM (more than 3 hours before check in ended) the gates were locked and the number provided was going straight to voicemail. Texts and voicemail was left with no response. After waiting for 20 minutes with the car hazards on, on a main road, we decided to look around and parked in the Manor Estate……

“One of the showers was a little too hot for some of our tastes. The double bed was very hard and difficult to sleep, but it was also very warm whilst we were there. The owners were really communicative before our stay and when we got there. They left us some bread, milk and essentials which was really appreciated. The cottage was warm clean and comfortable and perfect for what we needed in our two night stay. We were going to Cardiff for the speedway so the location was a little far away and……

“This is a special place, beautiful grounds, where you can walk freely walk. Our daughter had the opportunity to feed the Alpacas and sheep, which was very special. The accommodation is fantastic, we stayed in the Stables, which has a conservatory, it mkes all the difference to open these doors to the garden at the back. All in all, a very special place we can't wait to visit again! Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly.”

“A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track.”

“This is a very old property which has been sympathetically modernised. Spacious bedroom with lovely soft bedding. Good selections of tea, coffee and other drinks in the room. Staff were very attentive and the evening food gave good options on the menu which were well presented and tasty . We would stay again.”

“Amazing breakfasts”

“Overall, the accommodation was lovely – not five-star luxury that we’d expected for the price, but we had a lovely trip away. Fridge is very noisy which resulted in a restless sleep on both nights. There was noise from the neighbouring room - you can clearly hear talking from there. No details provided on COVID precautions anywhere in the room. Initially there wasn’t anything to recognise we’re staying for our honeymoon - despite mentioning this on our booking. When we mentioned this on the……

“Was a nice weekend treat but it just lacked the ‘wow’ factor that you get with other high end establishments. It was expensive for what you get. ”

“入住是問他拿取牙刷牙膏，他笑容滿面地答Certainly, 還好我晚上自己又去買，回到房間他答我out of stock. 房間的電話是不能用的，壞掉了，跟他說了也不位我更換。另外洗衣服送回給我時竟然問我啦信用卡號碼，我說我不舒服，費用掛在房間上我走的時候會結，他答如果我不立即給他，就要立即來收回我的衣服，這是什麼服務，2022年的酒店也會這樣子。房間有多不清潔的毛巾，給我新的但是不拿走舊的，任由一堆毛巾放在廁所的一角”

“Lovely pub with comfortable room. Friendly staff and nice beer. I was greeted with a warm welcome and escorted to my room. Tea/coffee making facilities were present and fresh milk available on request in the bar. I only had breakfast once but it was tasty and well presented. ”

“Good location but difficulty to find the place. No sign in front of the building. You have to go to another place to check in and get the key. It’s not a five star hotel! It’ an apartment in a townhouse.”
